At the end of last year we ran multi-Member State based face-to-face training for Scheme Member staff which included BPAY Product and Operational training sessions.
Sessions were held in NSW, VIC and QLD. We had a great response from Members with an
increase in both number of attendees and Financial Institutions represented at the training sessions in 2015.
Attendees were from a wide range of job functions: Sales, Product Managers, Operations staff on both Payer and Biller sides, Fraud, Implementation and Business Analysts.
Feedback was very positive and we will be running another series of Annual Training sessions at the end of 2016.
BPAY Training Webinars
This year to complement the online modules and materials on the BPAY Training Portal, as well as the face-to-face training already offered to Members, BPAY are now running Training Webinars as an alternative option for Scheme Member staff to attend BPAY training. This method enables BPAY to run more focused sessions as well as making training more accessible and convenient for Scheme Members.
Our first series of Webinars is focused on the Annual Member Compliance and Certification (AMCC). The AMCC is now available online via the BPAY Operations Portal and the Webinars are being held to assist Members in completing their online AMCC.
A series of 4 webinars ran during February and were very well attended, with over 58 participants dialling into the sessions. Sessions were a combination of presentation, demonstration and Q&A and were facilitated by Gill Brown and Claudette Yohana, from BPAY. Feedback was very positive from the sessions and BPAY will continue to use this method to run future training sessions.
